PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how CTCG Media LLC (doing business as “Cedric The Car Guy” and “Car Buying SECRETS”) (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you visit or interact with our websites, landing pages, and services, including any subdomains (for example, cedricthecarguy.com, cbs.cedricthecarguy.com and vsp.cedricthecarguy.com), and when you purchase or access our digital products and community offerings (collectively, the “Services”).

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.

1) INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. Information you provide directly
We may collect information you provide to us, including:
• Identifiers and contact info: name, email address, phone number, and any address you provide.
• Account and access info: username, password, membership/login details, and preferences.
• Purchase and transaction info: items purchased, transaction status, billing address/ZIP (if provided), and transaction identifiers.
– Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe may collect and process personal information under its own privacy policy. (See “Third-Party Services” below.)
• Support and communications: messages you send us, form submissions, survey responses, chat/support tickets, and call/message logs where applicable.
• User content you submit: testimonials, comments, or other content you choose to provide (we will request permission before publishing testimonials).

B. Text messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send SMS messages related to our Services, such as customer support replies, purchase/access reminders, program updates, and appointment confirmations/reminders (if applicable).

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to unsubscribe. For help, reply HELP.

Mobile information sharing: We do not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers to deliver messages and operate our systems, and they may process SMS data only to provide services to us.

C. Information collected automatically (website/funnel usage)
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:
• Device and network data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language settings.
• Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.
• Approximate location: inferred from IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location from your device).
• Cookies and similar technologies: cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar tools used for functionality, analytics, security, and advertising (if enabled).

D. Email engagement data
Our emails may include tracking technology (such as pixels or link tracking) that records events like opens, clicks, device type, and approximate location based on IP. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email.

2) HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
• Provide and operate the Services (including delivering digital products, managing logins, and enabling access).
• Process purchases, receipts, refunds (if applicable), and fraud prevention.
• Communicate with you about your account, purchases, access, updates, and support.
• Send marketing communications (email/SMS) where permitted by law and your preferences (you can opt out of marketing; transactional/service messages may still be sent).
• Measure and improve performance of funnels, pages, content, and campaigns (analytics).
• Personalize content and advertising (if enabled), including retargeting and conversion measurement.
• Secure the Services, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and protect rights and safety.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3) HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We may disclose information in these situations:

A. Service providers (processors)
We share information with vendors that help us operate the Services, such as:
• Payments: Stripe
• CRM, funnels, forms, and messaging: GoHighLevel / LeadConnector
• Email delivery: Mailgun
• Analytics: Google Analytics
• Advertising/measurement (if enabled): Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel
• Scheduling (if enabled): Calendly
• Community platform (if enabled): Skool

These providers are permitted to use information only to perform services for us and as otherwise described in their terms/policies.

B. Advertising and analytics partners (if enabled)
If we use advertising or analytics tools (such as pixels or conversion tracking), those partners may receive identifiers and event data through cookies or similar technologies to help measure and improve campaigns, build audiences for retargeting, and attribute conversions.

C. Legal, safety, and business transfers
We may disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce our agreements, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4) COOKIES, TRACKING, AND YOUR CHOICES

5) DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (including tax/accounting), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Examples:
• Purchase and access records: retained to deliver products, manage access, handle disputes/chargebacks, and meet tax/accounting requirements.
• Marketing contact data: retained until you unsubscribe/opt out, and then retained on a suppression list to honor your preferences.
• Support communications: retained as needed to resolve issues and improve support.

6) SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7) CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8) YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

A. General rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing (such as targeted advertising).

B. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
• Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected.
• Delete personal information (subject to legal exceptions).
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (as defined by California law).
• Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.

Opt-out of “sale/sharing” methods (California):
We provide at least two methods to submit opt-out requests:
(1) A “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link (where posted), and
(2) Email us at contact@cedricthecarguy.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”

Authorized agents:
Where allowed, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may require proof of authorization.

Sensitive personal information:
We do not use or disclose “sensitive personal information” for purposes that require an additional “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link under California law.

9) INTERNATIONAL USERS
If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate.

10) CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
