Toyota Crown Signia Event Opening Malibu, CA
Here’s how Dave Christ opened the audience in Malibu on this night:
“As you know, we’ve been working hard to bring customers the most diverse product and powertrain lineup in the industry. It was just a year ago that we unveiled the surprisingly sleek all-new Prius and Prius Prime.
And just a few months ago, we launched the spacious three-row Grand Highlander. Then, in May and in August, we revealed two products with legendary reputations. The completely redesigned Tacoma and the surprise return of the Land Cruiser.
Now, you may have noticed that every one of these models has an electrified powertrain. From plug-in Hybrid to the tried and true Toyota hybrid system to the turbocharged i-Force Max, we keep giving customers electrified choices that meet their needs so we can all continue and contribute to moving toward our Beyond Zero vision.
And tonight, we’ll bring you two more products that keep that plan moving forward. To start things off, we have a model that is the longest-running nameplate in the global Toyota family. It’s a symbol of Toyota’s pride, passion, and progress. And now, it’s bringing something completely new to our red-hot line of SUVs.”
Dave Christ Unveils Toyota Crown Signia
Here is the Toyota Crown Signia Offical Unveiling from Dave Christ:
“Introducing The North American debut of the first-ever Toyota Crown Signia. This new crossover model takes the premium attributes of the Crown name and shapes them into a sophisticated, versatile SUV package that customers will adore.
Available in XLE and Limited grades, the Crown Signia will be 100% Hybrid and 100% All-Wheel Drive. Producing 243 horsepower while delivering 36 miles per gallon combined. And it will be ready to tow up to 2700 pounds.
Available in 5 fashionable colors, its wide fenders and available 21-inch wheels give it a powerful, confident stance. Its front end has a performance vibe, thanks to the Toyota Hammerhead design. And color-matched geometric grille. And its sleek cabin has a flowing roofline that gives it a dynamic look. Creating a premium aesthetic that’s worthy of the Toyota Crown name.
Like the sedan, it’s also built on the TNGAK platform, giving it a high floor for easy ingress and egress and plenty of rear cargo space. On the inside, upscale comfort and modern technology make this two-row crossover a sanctuary for passengers with a quiet ride. Thanks to the sound-deadening panels throughout the vehicle.
Textured leather trim seating. Soft touch panels, rich colors, an available fixed panoramic glass roof, and its large, colorful driver’s display and Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen give it a high-tech feel for an interior that’s modern, spacious, and full of first-class comfort.
The expansion of the Crown lineup in Toyota’s talent for elevated, artful design with the Crown Signia gives discerning customers a crossover that’s sophisticated, versatile, and worthy of their high expectations. It adds yet another choice to the strongest SUV lineup in the industry. And we can’t wait for it to arrive. Models are expected to arrive in dealerships in the summer of 2024.”
After this, Dave Christ turned the event over to Kevin Hunter of Calty Design to discuss the 2025 Toyota Camry Redesign.
The Toyota Crown Signia shares a few similarities with the Lexus RX line based on the symmetry of the front-end grille and the interior dash photos I see here, but that could just be my imagination.
2024 will be a wild ride for Toyota dealers, with all these new products soon hitting the market. Especially considering most dealers have yet to return to the inventory levels they held in the past. Dealers will most likely receive a few Toyota Crown Signia in 2024. Only time will tell to see who gets what.
